Prof Dr Arzu Gerçek, MD, DESA is Anesthesiologist, Pain Specialist and Ozone therapist. She has attended pain management training in Harvard University,USA; Erlangen University, Germany; Leiden University, Holland; Odesa, Ukraine. She got Diplomate of European Society of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Management in 2011. She gave many lectures and courses about pain management and ozone therapy in Argentina, France, Italy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kenia, Albania, Pakistan, Kosova, Moscow etc. Her main research areas of interest pain management, neuroscience and ozone therapy. She was honored with Purske’s Neuroanesthesia Prize with her neuroscience work.  Prof Dr Arzu Gerçek is currently working as a Dean of Hamidiye Health Sciences Faculty in University of Health Sciences in İstanbul, Türkiye. Also, Director of Algology Clinic and Head of Traditional and Complementary Treatment Center. She has currently some role in Turkish Ministry of Health and Turkish Ministry of Justice. She has many publications, presentations worldwidely.
